Designed and made in a traditional Arts & Crafts style, this oak framed and panelled kitchen has been designed to provide large areas of working surfaces while optimising storage. The strong lines of the cabinetry are broken by glazed and recessed display cupboards.
The Arts & Crafts design is enhanced by using feature pilasters with a hand carved lily inspired by Lindsay Butterfield’s block printed linen designs researched at the V&A Museum.
The Corian work-surface is seamlessly moulded around the shape of the surface, as well as right up to the underside of the cupboards, creating a full height splashback upon which are mounted the electrical and lighting switches.
The AGA is central in the design with other integrated ovens positioned in tall cabinets with storage above and drawers below. Other cabinets conceal the full height fridge. On the other wall the sink and washing areas of the kitchen are set below the corian worksurface, above are wall hung display and wall cabinets. An induction hob and further display nestles in the corner nearest the window, in front of which is the family dining area.
Appliances include:
• AGA range cooker
• NEFF ovens, warming drawers
• NEFF induction hob and extractor
• Miele washing up machine
Just a note of appreciation to all at Treske for the superb service rendered over the production and installation of our newly completed kitchen.
