V&A Kitchen

V&A kitchen in oak with granite worksurfaces

'Thank you for your excellent workmanship and attention to detail which has given us a beautiful kitchen.'

Innovation in kitchen design is increasingly style-led. The Arts and Crafts movement which began in the 1880s and was pioneered in Britain by William Morris, had a lasting influence on design.

V&A archive research provided inspiring source material for our design. The central motif of a tulip was developed from Lindsay Butterfield’s block printed linen designs while other details were influenced by designers such as Mackintosh and Voysey.

Our V&A kitchen has innovative appliances such as Miele induction wok, thus combining modern and traditional cooking techniques while African black granite surfaces provide contrast and balance to the aesthetics of the room.

However, the Treske V&A kitchen can be as individual and bespoke as the client wishes, either purist or playful, in oak (illustrated) or a wide range of woods, all from responsibly re-planted sources.
