Art Deco with panelled walnut doors and feature mantle
Embracing the Art Deco style through subtle curves to the mantle, wall and base cabinets and to the worksurfaces.
Designed and made in American black walnut in an Art Deco style this kitchen provides a compact accessible cooking and preparation area with more than a touch of glamour.
The four oven AGA sits under a bowed flat mantle pierced by curved uprights with stainless steel set into the solid wood. Each side of the AGA is worksurface for which a leathered effect was used on Cosmic Black granite, bringing out the contrasting crystal colours of the granite.
The sink and Perin & Rowe mixer tap is positioned below a wall cabinet with a concave door shape contrasting with a convex shape to the cabinet below the sink, giving more space over the sink. Other wall cabinets use a white glass as a panel within their walnut frame. Full height splashbacks made by a local fused glass specialist complete the designs' contrasting colour scheme.
Curves on the ends of the base cupboards feature porthole lighting within the kickboards and solid walnut pilasters, making this a very stylish and also practical working kitchen.
The whole process was a pleasure from start to finish and you took a huge amount of stress out of what can be a consuming and challenging process.
