Our customers choose Treske because of the skill and care we take. From the knowledge of the kitchen designer and traditional craft of our workshop, to the skills of our installation team, all involved are dedicated to creating a beautiful kitchen.
The first point of contact is often through recommendation. Our welcoming showrooms are well worthwhile visiting to see examples of the range and variety of kitchen styles that customers can have made.
When thinking about your kitchen it is always really helpful to see any inspiration you have had, as a Pinterest page and or in an ideas notebook. It is always great if you have a rough plan of your room to hand when you visit, including doors and windows, ceiling heights and any features that might affect a kitchen layout.
Preparation could also include any ideas on appliances, worktops, woods or colours that you might like to look at as part of the design.
Budget and when you would like your Treske kitchen fitted is also important to have considered. Kitchens do range in cost from around £20,000 to £100,000; this depends on size and complexity, as well as the work-surfaces and appliances chosen.
One of our experienced kitchen designers will meet you either in the showroom or can visit your home. A consultation can take up to two hours. If at your home the room is measured and each area of decision making is covered by carefully listening and discussing your requirements and ideas. This enables the designer to work with you, using their experience, to develop a brief and specification so that we can produce a starting design and an outline price.
You will be invited into the showroom for the design presentation, so that we have all the necessary examples of choices easily to hand. Drawings prepared from the consultation will be used and all the finer points of detail discussed. Changes to the design may happen as a result of this process which will then be re-priced and presented to you once done. There is no charge for this process but we do have to prioritise some more urgent designs than others.
Once any changes have been made to the design to make it exactly as you want, and pricing is complete, we ask you to place an order and deposit for the kitchen. A date, usually three to four months from the date of order, is then set for the kitchen installation.
You will then start to meet the rest of our kitchen team who are responsible for the co-ordination and installation of your kitchen.
The designer then visits your home with our installation manager and fitter to check exact measurements and spot any other issues that will need solving. Any changes in dimension or design are then checked with you again with the final drawings before manufacturing can start.
Any preliminary work, such as plumbing, power and lighting, flooring and plastering, are discussed in order to have the kitchen space fully prepared for the fitting of your new kitchen.
With all the necessary other skills organised, fitting usually takes place over a two week period. During the first week the cabinets and appliances are fitted. Once the cabinets are in place the work-surfaces can be templated, made to measure and then fitted in the following week. If your kitchen is to be painted this also happens in the second week, along with final fitting of the appliances, sink and taps, so that the kitchen is properly ready for you to start enjoying.
We enjoy seeing and hearing from our kitchen customers long after the kitchen is completed. Your Treske kitchen is fully guaranteed against any faulty component or material, or any failure in normal use, occurring within two years. One of the kitchen team will visit after the kitchen is complete to see everything in place.
